Located at the end of a private back garden, the project explore rhythm and order as part of the composition, while providing a well insulated and functional space for the clients to compose and plays his music.
The space has a warm feeling, with material chosen for thermal and acoustic properties.
The architecture plays with modular timber elements and its combinations with minimal geometry variation, giving the pavilion a strong character without overwhelming the garden.
The main structure is made of hollow concrete blocks wrapped around with insulation to avoid cold bridges and a breathable waterproof membrane on the outside of the insulation.
The wood cladding is made using standard timber elements CNC cut to suit the profile, all the timber elements are spray-painted.
