The new Hackney Wick station is an integral part of LLDC’s wider vision for the regeneration of

the area and was the first key project that was delivered. LLDC’s brief called for a station upgrade and a new pedestrian connection underneath the existing functioning railway. The project had a key sponsor at Network Rail, who worked closely with the design team and LLDC to deliver this complex piece of infrastructure. The project was delivered whilst managing to keep the station live throughout.
